Starting my career in Eagle Ford was an intimidating feat (some may describe it as jumping on to a freight train) and coming in as a fresh graduate, I had no idea what to expect. Over the past year, the amount of knowledge I have gained is truly unbelievable and I can honestly say that 99% of that knowledge has come from learning alongside my peers and collaborating as a group. It is wonderful working with people who want to see you succeed. ConocoPhillips also puts a huge focus on work-life balance and, before entering the industry, I didn’t really quite understand the importance behind that. I have had the opportunity to volunteer as a tutor in elementary schools, for Habitat for Humanity, United Way, and many more programs simply by working for ConocoPhillips. The ability to balance working as a Reservoir Engineer but still pursue my passion to give back to the community is one of my absolute favorite parts about my job.”

All areas require a strong academic record and the minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with the exception of Geosciences and Human Resources which require a graduate degree.
