Description:

ConocoPhillips Canada (CPC) is currently recruiting for a Finance System Analyst, reporting to the Supervisor, Finance Systems. The role is the first line of support and manages SAP access for users in the Canadian Business Unit.  Duties will include:

  • Ensuring proper authority is granted to SAP users.
  • Monthly conflicting authorities review.
  • Semi-annual SAP user access reviews
  • General resolution of SAP user access issues
  • ALM / DOA Administration

Responsibilities:

  • Possess a basic understanding of the access provided by SAP security roles.
  • Have a basic understanding of the authorizations in the security roles and the tools used for analyzing access issues.
  • Administer bi-annual user access reviews for employees and contractors.
  • Manage segregations of duties and mitigating controls for users when applicable
  • Understand the functionality of tools for requesting access and monitoring risks.
  • Assist staff on-boarding new users and requesting access changes.
  • Build on and update procedural documentation.
  • Review user access when job changes occur.
  • Adhere to security processes, policies, and guidelines.
  • Attend mandatory meetings, required training, and knowledge sharing opportunities with Global SAP Security Coordinators
  • Assist and knowledge share with back-up coordinators to ensure timely processing of access needs in the primary coordinator’s absence.
  • ALM / DOA Administration

Required Qualifications:

  • Solid system’s experience with SAP and SailPoint applications
  • Proficient in core Microsoft applications
  • Strong analytical skills with keen ability to identify potential problems or areas warranting further analysis or investigation.
  • Works well with others, often in demanding situations
  • Ability to coordinate requests for information efficiently.
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis without restrictions.
