Job Summary

Administrate all business requirements in the Oracle EPM system while minimizing risk of system failure, address and remediate any issues that may arise. Collaborate with fellow Oracle administrators to ensure consistency in approach, develop best practices, provide opportunities for cross-application learning and backfill, and overall enhance systems capabilities to allow efficient reporting. Primary point of contact for planning/reporting analysts to assist troubleshooting and creating process enhancements.

Position Overview

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Ensure all L48 Oracle planning (COPWest/L48Plan) databases/cubes are updated on-time and accurately
  • Collaborate with IT personnel and other Oracle administrators in Corporate Finance to ensure all technology strategies are aligned and issue identification/remediation are effective
  • Act as the gatekeeper for all L48 Planning hierarchy changes and ensure that the L48 planning hierarchy is aligned with L48 and Corporate reporting cubes. Collaborate with other Oracle administrators and EDM governance coordinator to ensure all changes comply with global standards
  • Partner with L48 Strategy & Portfolio Management team to ensure efficient data loads and translation from L48 to Corporate databases
  • Identify opportunities and build solutions to capture database and process efficiencies to enhance planning and reporting capabilities
  • Provide system assistance for budgeting and impairment databases
  • Represent L48 on various Corporate wide IT initiatives- ERP and other emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with global Oracle admins to identify and implement best practices

Basic/Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS) or foreign equivalent
  • 3 or more years of administration experience with business intelligence and financial reporting applications
  • 1 or more years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud application
  • 1 or more years of experience with financial close, consolidation, planning/forecasting business process

Preferred:

  • 3 or more years of experience with Oracle EPM applications
  • 1 or more years of experience with Anaplan
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with SAP BW
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Calculation Manager, development of custom business rules, Groovy scripting, EPM automate, etc
  • Intermediate level proficiency of Reporting, SmartView, Forms, Grids, etc
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
