Job Summary

As the Facilities Operations Lead for Eagle Ford, you will oversee the activities of contractors and contract services. Your responsibilities will include implementing policies, procedures, and core values to achieve or exceed company and customer objectives. A key aspect of your role will be to foster a positive relationship with the customer business unit (BU) and support their business needs. You will ensure a well-maintained, safe working environment and deliver quality and timely service.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations and upkeep of building systems, including but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, water/sewer, generators for backup power, fire alarms, and suppression systems. Additionally, you will manage the upkeep and necessary repairs of building exteriors/interiors, sidewalks/parking lots, roofs, windows, doors, lighting systems, furniture systems, kitchen appliances, and more.

Position Overview

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Overseeing all Eagle Ford facilities operations, including janitorial services, landscaping, and both preventative and predictive maintenance tasks (e.g., changing air filters, HVAC system PMs, maintaining exterior building elements like windows, roofs, and doors, electrical systems, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, security systems and cameras, generators, parking lot sealing and striping). This includes coordinating with approved contractors and scheduling their on-site work
  • Ensuring contractors understand the scope of work and safety requirements set by ConocoPhillips. Completing all necessary Real Estate & Facilities Services (REFS) HSE/OSHA permits and checklists
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain to onboard new contractors into the system
  • Issuing security badges and working with corporate security to register new employees and contractors in the system for both the Business Unit (BU) and REFS
  • Managing company-provided employee housing, overseeing cleaning, stocking of consumables, furniture setup, necessary repairs, TV/Internet service setup, and bill payments
  • Reporting weekly and monthly activities to the Kenedy Director of Facilities
  • Overseeing support services and project budgets, providing regular reports to the Director of Kenedy Facilities
  • Utilizing the SAP system to create work orders, schedule building maintenance, and code/approve invoices
  • Ensuring Eagle Ford properties are maintained safely and effectively
  • Working closely with the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to implement and maintain the REFS HSE Management System
  • Advising on the build-out of future projects to ensure spaces are safe, functional, and meet BU needs
  • Organizing and setting up large meeting rooms for group meetings and training sessions

Basic/Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Current/valid Driver’s License
  • 5 or more years of experience in a facility services function
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 50% of the time on a yearly basis
  • Willing and able (with or without a reasonable accommodation) to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, crawl, and push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 50 lbs
  • Willing and able to (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel by car, driving long hours between remote locations in sometimes extreme weather conditions

Preferred:

  • 3 or more years of experience in a role applying budgeting and finance skills
  • 3 or more years of experience implementing, maintaining, and applying an HSE Management System
  • Advanced level of proficiency in SAP PM & MM modules and monitoring workload and flow
  • Ability to understand BU needs and arbitrate challenges
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Delivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goals
  • Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
