Job Summary
Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) Summer Bridge- is a University of Alaska program that targets newly graduated high school students that have interests in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) fields of study. ANSEP Summer Bridge helps those students prepare for college level coursework, gain money for college, and solidify their direction in which sciences or engineering they decide to study in.Position Overview

ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. is Alaska’s largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2023. The company produced an average of 195 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (MBOED) in 2023. ConocoPhillips Alaska holds major ownership interests in two of North America’s largest legacy equivalent per day conventional oil fields, both located on Alaska’s North Slope: Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, ConocoPhillips Alaska owns and operates several fields on the Western North Slope. The company also has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System and owns and operates the Polar Tankers fleet.
Basic/Required:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science
- Accepted into ANSEP Summer Bridge program
- A minimum of seven (7) continuous weeks availability for internship
