Job Summary
Accountable to lead a team of Contract Specialists for the procurement/acquisition of materials, equipment and services through effective contracting practices and compliance to PETRONAS Procurement Standard (PPS) and Governing Standards; and ensuring that they are obtained at competitive prices, delivered within the required time frame, meeting specifications and quality under the best terms and conditions to provide the best value to the Company.Support the Business by driving the pre-award strategies to meet business needs and local state content agenda and providing advice and guidance on post award contract management & supplier performance, ensuring compliance, maximizing supply chain value, identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities to optimize resources and cost whilst mitigating risk for the company.
This role will require the incumbent to be sufficiently flexible to work outside of the normal boundaries of their current experience and to integrate quickly into a new organization. Must be receptive to new ways of doing things, energetic, approachable and open minded. The ability to work with stakeholders from various disciplines and drive commerciality will be essential to be successful in this role.
