New Hire Development
We offer a training course called “Getting to Know ConocoPhillips” that will introduce you to the company, direct you to our great resources and help you succeed in your transition from campus.
Each functional area within the company offers an onboarding and development program that is targeted to your role and chosen discipline. Most programs occur in the first 12-18 months of your experience here and are designed to help you reach your full potential by:

- Increasing your awareness of the global business challenges within today’s energy industry.
- Extending new opportunities to develop essential skills, determine your leadership competencies and build valuable networks.
- Offering a framework for the development of your unique personal and professional goals.

New Hire Network
New employees with less than three years of experience at ConocoPhillips automatically receive active membership in our New Hire Network. As one of our largest employee network groups, the New Hire Network serves as a fun, engaging way to meet other newly hired employees. The group organizes events and activities that can help you build a network of friends and resources, and otherwise facilitate your immersion into the organization.
